HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR HAT SIZE

Finding the right fit is crucial to enjoying your new hat—it impacts impacts both how your hat looks on you as well as comfort. It's important to figure out what size you need before you buy.

STEP 1: SUPPLIES

First, you will need either a measuring tape or a long piece of string and a ruler.

STEP 2: MEASURE

Take your string or measuring tape, and wrap it all of the way around your head—starting at an inch above your ear. Do not pull it too tight—you want it about as tight as you would want the hat to feel on your head.

STEP 3: FIND YOUR SIZE

If you used string, hold on to your end point and then measure the length of your string with a ruler. If you used a measuring tape, make note of the end measurement.

Then take your measurement, and find your hat size in our chart above.

OUR ADVICE

  • Size Up. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. A hat that is slightly too big can be fixed with hat sizing tape, but you cannot fix a hat that is too tight!

  • Measure Twice. We recommend measuring twice to ensure you are buying the right size.

  • Measure Even For One Size Hats. One size fits all/most hats work for most people, but not everyone. We recommend measuring before you purchase. If the measurements for that hat aren't listed on our website, feel free to give us a call and we can check for you.
